Firm History

BHK  Investment Advisors, LLC and BHK Securities, LLC were founded in 2006 and are affiliates of BHK Holdings, LLC. The firm's management and client service process date back to 1974 when John Brock helped pioneer the concept of investment management consulting in the Southeast while a registered representative with the Robinson~Humphrey Company. In an era of transaction oriented "stock brokers" John had the vision of sitting on the same side of the table as his clients by serving as a consultant to establish the investment strategy and then retain investment advisors to implement the strategy.

Robby Hazzard and Bailey Knight joined John at Robinson~Humphrey in 1985 and 1996 respectively thus completing the partnership that was to become BHK.

Since the beginning, the vision of BHK's principals has been to create a business structure that allows us to serve our clients as advisors and consultants facilitating with a resource base developed over decades what we believe to be the best strategies implemented by outstanding advisors. We believe that our firm has the knowledge and experience to guide our clients successfully to their objectives.
